It was so nice to wake up at our own house on Christmas morning and take our time opening presents without rushing to go anywhere. Thanks families for not complaining about us starting our own traditions at home this year!
We had to wake Gavin up because the stinker decided Christmas day would be a great day to sleep in for once! The one day I would gladly let him get up at 6:30!

Not many pictures because we were having fun watching the kiddos, but here's a few:

Henley got twin bedding for a big girl bed!
(Thanks Sharon for finding this so on sale for me!!!)
She doesn't seem old enough for this but we put Gavin in a twin at 18 months and this girl is 15 months! It'll be here before we know it!

After Thanksgiving when all the toy ads came out, we gave them to Gavin and told him to pick out one present. He kept coming back to this huge monster truck in the Target ad. And kept talking about it.

When he sat on Santa's lap, Santa asked him what he wanted and of course he said, "A Monster Truck!" And Santa said, "Well the elves are working on it right now!" and this little stinker believed every word and kept telling us that the elves were working on his Monster Truck.

We cheated a little bit and let him open a few little presents before Christmas because we were just so excited to give him stuff this year! It was such a fun Christmas because he's finally at the age that he understand what's going on. More pictures to come!
(If you're not bored to death of Christmas pictures already that is!)

1. I think it's time to get Henley's ears pierced!!! It would go so well with all of her cute outfits! :)
2. We would love to borrow Courageous.
3. I love that Gavin believed Santa and repeated it to you.
