Breaking the News
So we sat down with our first baby, our 2-year-old Boxer Dakota, and broke the news that she is not going to be an only child anymore. This is how she felt about it.

Our Little Froggy
Well, if our little one was positioned just the right way and the ultrasound tech was willing to tell us her best guess, we might have found out if we were having a boy or girl today! But, our little one was sitting like a frog and covering everything up!! All is perfectly healthy and measuring just right! Thank you, Lord, for taking care of our baby!
Ryan got to go with me today. It's so much more fun with him there! He said this picture looks like a drama queen. Look at its little arm over its forehead. "Oh, I can't take you pushing on my home anymore! Let me rest!" You can see the frog position with its feet here.
This picture has the head on the right, body on the left, facing down. You can see the spine at the top! Unbelievable.
I was told to eat sugar beforehand so it would move around. I had vanilla pudding in the waiting room, and during the ultrasound, it would jump up suddenly every 10 seconds or so. I can't wait until I can feel that!!
You know what else I can't wait for? To quit calling the baby "it" and start calling it "he" or "she"! :) September 22 will be the day to find out!!

3 Months
Ladies and gentlemen, it is official--I have a pregnant belly!!!
So I've been told that I wouldn't show until about 4 or 5 months, but there's just one problem...there's nowhere for the baby to go but OUT!! I mean, my torso is probably one of the smallest ones in the world. :) So I think I'll just keep getting bigger and bigger a little faster than most people. Ryan says it's more real to him now because I look pregnant. It's so fun!!
I'm feeling FANTASTIC!! I don't have to eat nearly as often, just have to keep food with me in case I get hungry. I'm back to school and doing great! Although I do have to take a nap everyday when I get home because I get tired easier. But hey, I can live with that! I feel that it's unfair to have had such an easy pregnancy so far!
Only 6 more months to go! Can you believe it!?
