Family Fun Day

Being so far along in my pregnancy, we are forced to stay in town on the weekends now in case this little one decides to come early. Such a nice break from all of our traveling! It was so nice to have a whole day to hang out as a family this past Saturday.

We started out with some impromptu yard work Ryan decided to do for the Fall.
Gavin, of course, insists on helping his Dad.
He is so cute how he waters everything whether it needs it or not!

What a big helper!

If the shed is open, this boy has nothing else on his mind but the John Deere
And must touch the tires

Then it was off to World's Fair Park for a free evening of fun!
We didn't realize we'd be getting wet in the fountains so Gavin went in a diaper.
It was a little cool in the evening so he wasn't quite sure about it!

"Come on guys, are you serious!?"
So Ryan forces him in!
And he quickly runs out!

And back in!

"Dad, please don't make me do it again!"

Then we went up in the Sunsphere that we have never been up in before. It was really neat to see downtown! You can see the fountains we were just in in the background here:

We didn't get any pictures of the event we went down there for. It was free dinner, dessert (including cotton candy which Gavin refused to even taste!!!), and inflatables put on by Second Harvest Foodbank for a food drive. You can see the inflatables on the lawn in the background here:

Our little family of 3--not much longer until a family of 4!
What a fun day together!
