Les Miserables

My wonderful husband surprised me with a trip to Atlanta, GA on Saturday with 3 other couples. We had such a great time! When I found out we were going to Atlanta, I begged him to go to Ikea! I wanted to look for nursery things, but no such luck. They only have older kiddos stuff. But it was so much fun to look around! It is GINORMOUS!

We couldn't find a parking spot, and when we saw this sign on the front row, the car erupted in shouts of joy! :) I don't think a pregnant woman=family yet, but we parked here anyway.
We then had dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. Here are the girls: me, Claire, Bethany, and Sharon.

Stuffed from a delicious dinner!

We booked it back from dinner to The Fox Theatre to see Les Miserables. We got there right as the show started! It was so good. Ryan and I are going to rent the movie soon to hopefully understand it a little bit better. Lon downloaded all the songs so we listened to them going to and from Atlanta. Fantine was my favorite by far. That girl could sing!!

In front of the Fox Theatre. It was gorgeous!

To make the drive back, we all stopped at Starbucks to get a little caffeine boost (except for me--I had my coffee with dinner so I could stay awake for the show!). Peter took this picture just goofing around, but I really like it! What a romantic stop! :)
What a fun day! Thanks, Lon, for getting tickets to Les Mis, thanks Peter and Mike for driving, and thanks so much Ryan for surprising me with such a fun day! What a great memory!

How fun! Don't you just LOVE Ikea? Emma had her first trip there last week - and we parked in the family friendly parking - hehe. And the Fox is probably my favorite theater - so gorgeous and so much fun to attend a show there! Was the little guy playing the organ before the show and during intermission? By the way, you look so cute and pregnant!!!

I really love Les Mis and even got to see it on Broadway once!!! I am afraid that I love it so much that at one time I had almost the entire thing memorized word for word...that is what happens when you are homeschooled I guess ;-) I am glad that you had a good time seeing it. If you ever want to borrow my CDs of it you can :)
