Thanks to Gabby Dalton, we got some AMAZING pictures of our little man. Here are some of my favorites (be prepared for a long post--I'm choosing out of 200 pictures!)...

Thanks again, Gabby! I will always treasure these!

1st Trip to Chattanooga!

On Friday, Gavin and I drove down to Chattanooga to spend the night with Nanie and Pop. Here's a video for all of you who haven't been able to see my precious little guy in action yet! This is his first conversation with us! Oh, how I love being able to witness all these precious firsts with him!
(By the way, I should clarify why he's on the washer and dryer! That's our makeshift changing table at my Mom and Dad's house. I promise he's safe!)

On Saturday, Mom, Gavin, and I went to a bridal shower for Kristin Gardner with a ton of my friends from High School! It was SO FUN because all of our Moms were there, too, who haven't seen each other in about 10 years since we all graduated. Kristin, thanks for having such a great idea to invite them, too! We had a blast!

This was Gavin's first outing and he did so good! I just love showing my little man off! :)

Baby Buddies

Remember this picture from November?
All the babies are now here!
Elizabeth Jane ("Libby"): December 27
Lucy Beth: February 1
Gavin Robert: February 28
Gavin: a.k.a. The Ladies' Man
It's so fun having friends with babies the same age!

Happy St. Patrick's Day...

...from my little porker!
We went for our 2 week check-up today. Woa. So he weighed 7 lb. 11 oz. when he was born, so that was the weight goal for today. Well, no problems there! He weighs 8 lb. 10 oz. now!!

We had a visit from Gavin's future best buddy Braden
I really like this picture better. Action shot! :)
And we went to Lon and Sharon's to congratulate them on buying their first house! WOOHOO!!
We're so excited for you, guys!

Thanks, Moms!

For the last 2 weeks, Gavin's grandmothers have taken turns coming up from Chattanooga to stay and help me out around the house and spend some time with their first grandson.

Mom, I truly don't know what I would have done without you the first week. You taught me so much about being a Mom, and helped SO MUCH around the house since I couldn't do anything with my C-Section. My favorite thing you taught me is that we have to teach Gavin everything since he's brand new to the world! It's been so fun explaining little things to him, even though I know he can't understand me yet!
If you remember Nanie's Reaction when we told her we were pregnant, she ran to get a gift for me she had been working on (if you haven't seen it, you've gotta watch the video--it's hilarious). This is the hat and booties that she made for him. He's so precious in them!

Julie, I don't know if I would have survived Ryan being gone for a business trip for 3 days if you had not been here last week! Thanks so much for all your help around the house and with Gavin. Can you come every Friday and deep clean my house for me!? :)
I love you guys!

Ryan's sister Amanda also came to visit last week.
And made us a cookie cake to celebrate Gavin's arrival!

Some more random pictures of my sweet boy...

Look at those cheeks! Just like his Mom! :)
Enjoying the beautiful Spring-like days last week...
He finally had enough!
Shannon and Libby came to visit last week, too. I can't believe how big Libby looks next to my little guy! I know they will be great friends!

More pictures/videos to come later this week!

Sneak Peak

On Saturday, our friends James and Gabby came over to do a photo shoot with our new little man. She has her favorites up on her website (click below). They are SOOOOO good! Gabby, you are so gifted. Thanks so much for blessing our little family! I think all of our frames will have new pictures very soon! :)
