Monday was a jam-packed day!
We woke up and rented bikes again. We rode to Georgetown, which has so many fun places to shop that we don't have in Knoxville! H&M, West Elm, Anthropologie, Athleta, Urban Outfitters--just to name a few.
I got a yummy cupcake at Georgetown Cupcakes ("D.C. Cupcakes" on TLC!)

Georgetown is a super cute little town. They had cobblestone side streets!
And bridges across the Potomac. One thing we didn't get to do that we wish we could have was paddleboard!
Georgetown also has a very historic house called "The Old Stone House" built in 1766! Just right on the main drag with all the shops.
A local gal told us to grab lunch at Dean & Daluca. Oh my. It is an upscale grocery store that has such incredible food! Look at this place!
We got sushi to go (my first ever!) and walked down a block to eat by the Potomac River.

We rode bikes back to the National Mall and
Ryan couldn't stop with his Autostitch App. :)
We rode along a trail we hadn't seen yet and stopped for our first view of the Jefferson Memorial:

My favorite tree is a Yoshino Cheery Tree. My dream is to come back to D.C. one Spring while all the cherry trees are blooming. They were a gift from Japan in the early 1900s:
We rode under all the cherry trees. Oh my word! I kept yelling to Ryan, "Imagine if these were in bloom!!!!"
