Fabulous February

Better late than never! Here's our month of February in pictures...

Superbowl Sunday with a few friends.
Kate and Henley have the same sleeper, so we had to take some pictures!

Kate is 5 months older and looks so much smaller than Henley!!

A visit to Gram and Papaw's.
Oh, the good ol' Lite Brite. Gavin was a fan:

Henley and Gram:

Henley and Papaw:

Man oh man, this girl is sickeningly cute.
She smiles this much all the time. If there were such a thing as a "World's Best Baby Award," she would get it for sure! Days go by and we don't hear a cry from her at all. We are blessed beyond belief.

This sweet girl had some firsts last month.
First time swinging in the backyard:
Big brother wanted to join her, too!
She started pulling everything to her mouth. No tooth yet but she sure is acting like she's teething!

She is officially a blanket girl! She sleeps with one her Gram gave her every night and naptime now.

With the weather getting warmer, we've taken a few walks. She looks SO BIG sitting forward in her stroller instead of in the infant seat:

This picture is possibly the funniest picture of Henley ever. Hangin' out with Aunt Amanda--her shirt says "My Aunt is my BFF." I had to squeeze it on her one last time for Aunt Amanda--she is one chunky monkey!

We had a lot of visits from Aunt Amanda in February that I could almost do a post devoted just to her! :)
She spent the night on the pullout couch one night and Gavin and Henley loved snuggling with her!

Unfortunately for most of February, Gavin was sick. He would get well, then catch another cold.

So he spent a lot of time snuggling on the couch getting pampered with extra juice and TV time:

His Dad likes to give him chocolate milk. He says "Choc!" for chocolate:

On a well week, we got to spend time at Nani and Pop's. They got a lot of trees cut down and trimmed, and Gavin loved the wood chip pile--especially for his favorite truck to go down:

Men hard at work with their tools:

The end of February was Gavin's birthday. His party wasn't on his actual birthday, so I made him pancakes that morning. I attempted a monster truck, but it sort of looks like a dog!

But when you cover it with whipped cream and strawberries, it doesn't matter what shape it is! :) He was a fan!

Gavin's 2-year-old appointment stats:
Weight: 27 lb 14 oz--50%
Henley, there's hope for you!!
Length: 35 1/2 in--75%
He's stayed about the same weight for a year and just gotten taller!
Head: 52.8 cm--above 97%
Shocker, I know.
