I have never had such an exciting and event-filled Mother's Day before! First, I woke up to this from my wonderful husband...

(yes, those are pearl earrings!)
Thank you, Ryan, for making my first Mother's Day so special!
Then we went to church where Gavin (along with 7 other babies born around the same time) were dedicated to the church.

Instead of infant baptisms, the pastors pray over the families to raise our babies in a Christian home.
"Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

What a special day for Gavin to get dedicated!
Afterwards, we had a joined picnic with our friends the Carrs and the Andrews and our families to celebrate.

There was SO MUCH delicious food!

Aunt Amanda made a cake with Gavin, Libby, and Lucy's names on a picnic blanket.

My brother, "Unk," and Gavin, "Chunk" :)
Chad calls this the "Unk Chunk Duo"

My grandmother had the great idea since Gavin is so fat to have him holding a hot dog like he's eating it.

We were cracking up!!

Here's a look back on the 3 babies in March

Look how much they've grown in 2 months (especially my fat boy)!

Gavin had on a shirt expressing his love for me. :)

Mom had this pillow made for me (thanks for sewing it, Christie!). It is my old blanket when I was a baby. And now it is in the chair I rock my baby in. How special!! I will always treasure this, Mom!

It was such a great Mother's Day!
